This hijab-clad Jamia student is toast of national, international media

It was a few days ago when the story of a 22-year-old girl student of Jamia Millia Islamia was splashed by a website AT run by a Jamia student.

hijabibikerroshanSince then Roshni Misbah, a student of Arab Islamic Culture at the Jamia, has become toast of the media.

Her story has find space in almost all national newspapers and even international publications, including the BBC, running her story. Popularly known as ‘Hijabi Biker’ by her admirers, Roshini is also present on the social media.

While sharing her experience with users and her admirers, this is what she wrote on her Instagram profile that she runs as Bikesandgirl: “I remember the First Time I tried my Hands on a Royal Enfield was some 3 years back. It was a Beautiful “Tan” Classic 500cc. My Love was kind enough to let me try her without any Second Thought. I was Nervous & Happy.

“Seeing the meter go at 50kmph made me sOoo Joyous, I can’t explain the feeling. And, I was sOo afraid of Braking that I Bumped into a Car. Yet!! This person made me Ride Again. NERVOUS. JOYED. HAPPY. SCARED. Today!! الحمدالله I am Fluent with her at 150kmph too. I OWE My Enfield Riding To yOu Tan500. People may Leave. But, Lessons Remain. Do Not Give Up!! Follow your Passion. Follow your Dreams.”
