During this period he worked on several high profile cases, appeared for the Government of Indian as well as for the State of Karnataka and thereafter focused on private practice. Jamia Collective is a recently initiated platform of artists, intellectuals, journalists and activists to promote diversity, pluralism and constitutional values and it actively engages with citizens of the Jamia area. This initiative aims at bridging the gap between thinkers working in various fields such as media, culture, heritage, law, science, arts, human rights, gender equality, films, music, etc. The syncretic culture in any democratic society is created on the bedrock of negotiation between different domains of human activity, intellectual distillation and the thought processes prevalent among common citizens. Jamia collective strives to enhance and crystallize this social contract.

Jamia Collective organizes Guftgu every first Saturday of the month at the above given venue. (Residence of Syeda Saiyidain Hameed, Former Member, Planning Commission.)
