In her complaint to the officials, the girl wrote: “We (three females) were returning to our home in Shaheen Bagh from Ghaffar Manzil through e-rickshaw. When we reached Thokar number 1 a boy aged around 11 years in white kurta and pajama sat in our rickshaw. He got out of the rickshaw at Hari Hothi in front of Scholar public school lane. He after giving money to the e-rickshaw driver snatched phone from my hand and ran away in the Scholar School lane.
“He got help from another boy who was on a bike. He was following us and helped the boy to flee from the spot by giving him ride.
“The incident took place at around 10:10 pm. That lane has a CCTV camera installed as said by the watchman and other people who turned up there.
“The phone had two SIM cards and a memory card. I request you to take required action and recover my phone.”
