Gauhar Raza is an engineer by qualification (M Tech, IIT Delhi), a former Chief Scientist of CSIR, communicator, filmmaker and a poet by passion. He is known by his films ‘Jang-e-Azadi’ on India’s First War of Independence, ‘Inquilab’ on Bhagat Singh and ‘Zulmaton Ke Daur Me’ on fascism.
Gauhar Raza will recite poetry of resistance in Okhla on Saturday at an event organised by Jamia Collective at residence of Syeda Saiyidain Hameed.
