Garbage dumped close by 2 mosques

It is very sad to say that we are facing an unhealthy environment just near the Qadri Masjid in Okhla, said Faraz Khan, a resident.

Sharing the photo of the place, he said: “There is a lot of garbage dumped in field called Park River Ridge by google.”

It is understood that two mosques Qadri Masjid, Moti Masjid are located nearby. Moreover, this is not first incident in the locality as it is common to find open space to be used to dump garbage.

A resident said: “Early morning when I got up and was walking in the lane, I saw a man dumping garbage in a park that was built recently by narrowing the road in Shaeheen Bagh. What I don’t understand is that why people who live in Rs 60 lakh flat do such things. There are many people who dumped garbage in the open and are not willing to pay Rs 50 monthly to garbage picker.”

Resident lament that it is common to see garbage dumped on roadside in several places. For years garbage is being dumped on roadside in Abul Fazal Enclave a few metres from a local private school and hospital. At times the situation gets worse with garbage spilling over on road.
