Okhla schoolchildren remember freedom fighters’ contribution

The 71st Independence Day was celebrated on the premises of Sir Syed Mission School with patriotism and enthusiasm.

Welcome speech and importance of Independence Day were delivered by Dr Ghulnaz Shamim.

Programme was conducted by Maulana Hifzur Rahman Nadwi. On this occasion, the sacrifices of freedom fighters remembered.

The celebration was packed with national anthem and songs.

The school students showed their talent by singing different songs and dramas based on martyr Bhagat Singh. The pre-school students also pledged to make our country safe for all through patriotic song.

The Hall was fully packed with parents, guests and children. Sheikh Imran Alam, Advocate Delhi High Court and president of lawyer’s forum, Delhi, was the chief guest.

The presidential speech was delivered by the Chief Guest. In his speech, he focused on the sacrifices of freedom fighters belonging from different communities, who made too much sacrifices to make India free from the British rulers.

The chief guest praised the stage performances done by the students. He thanked the management and the teachers who are honing the skills of the children.

In last, the vote of thanks speech delivered by the Principal Mohammad Kalimullah.

The principal thanked the chief guest, the invited guests and the parents who participated in the programme. He also thanked the teachers and said without the true effort of teachers the skill of students cannot be hone.
