Okhla residents continue to contribute generously for the victims for Bihar flood. On Friday, Okhla-headquartered NGO founded by Kaleemul Hafeez also desptached relief items.
Founder and president of AMAN Kaleemul Hafeez flagged off a truck of relief material comprising 1,100 blankets, 550 Lungi, 550 Gamcha, 440 Sari ( A kit of 2 blanket+1 Sari+ 1Lungi+1 Gamcha for 550 family) and 45 begs of old clothes to Katihar (Bihar) for the victims of Bihar Flood, said the organiser on Sunday.
“This material has been arranged through a camp organised by AMAN and Bihar Youth Volunteer supported by Al-Nawaz, near Jamia dispensary. I am thankful to all donors who have shown faith in us. Also, kudos to Aman executives and members, Youth Volunteers and Al-Nawaz who made this camp successful.
“It is a well know fact that the flood has devastated several villages. The relief work has been a herculean task. On our part, we made some efforts to show our concern and affection towards brothers and sisters who are suffering from this calamity,” said activist Kaleemul Hafiz.
Besides, Bihar Anjuman, Rahnuma Foundation, some Jamia students too have been at the forefront to collect relief materials for the flood victim. A few days ago, Bihar Anjuman Delhi chapter member Syed Ali too had sent relief materials to the flood-hit areas of Bihar.
