Firing in Batla House

Firing in Batla House and one youth got injured, Parvez Alam Khan wrote on his timeline.

FB_IMG_1466009754267“Batla house me chali goli…shahabuddin naam ke ladke ko maari gayi goli..Okhla me law and order Allah bharose…Allah khair kare Ramzan me,” this is what he wrote and also shared photo of the injured youth.

It is understood that the attackers beat up Shahabuddin Saifi and then fired in the air. Six rounds were fired, said Khan.

OKHLATIMES was unable to independently verify it. But to buttress his claim Khan shared on his timeline photo of bellet recovered from the spot.

The deteriorating law and order situation in the locality has left many residents shocked. This is not one of incident in the locality as a few weeks ago an NDMC official was gunned down in Johri Farm when he was returning from his office.

Police was able to crack the case in 24 hours by arrested people, including owner of a hotel. In that case too the killers were local youth who had taken small amount in advance to kill him. It is understood that as MM Khan was away from his house he was intercepted by the unidentified bike-borne youths and gunned down.

He was rushed to a local hospital where doctors had declared him brought dead.

“If such criminal activities continue with such pace then it is extremely difficult to reside in this locality. We came to know from reliable sources that the boy was shot at after his family members or he didn’t allow some youths to get into his house to pluck datwan from a neem tree located in his house. Just think about these people that if on such minor issues they can shot at anybody then nobody in the locality is save,” said a resident on the condition of anonymity.
