Farzand Ahmed Khan, an eminent journalist, who worked in several publications including India Today, passed away today in the morning after prolonged illness.
He was suffering from cancer.
He was adviser to the UP Government and studying human rights law at NLSIU, Bangalore.
Nayyar Azad informed OKHLATIMES.COM about the death of his father. After retiring from India Today, Farzand Ahmed was Information Commissioner in Bihar. MA in English Language & Literature, from Patna University, Farzand Ahmed was born in June 15, 1948.
Farzand Ahmed will be missed as he was known among his friends as an extremely polite and down to earth person, who was always willing to help others.
He is survived by a son and two daughters.
