Eid-al Adha 2017 is just a few days ago most probably on September. And as the devotes across the world will be celebrating Eid-al Adha, there are many people in Bihar who are battling to survive due to the natural calamity that has wreaked havoc in several districts of Bihar.
Many people living in Okhla, who come from Bihar, are concerned of their well-being. Several people have get down to start collecting relief materials to be dispatched to the flood-hit people. In such a situation, a Jamia Millia Islamia student Tarik Imran, who is from the flood-hit region of Bihar, has issued a message for the Muslims.
“With due respect to all the religious beliefs and sentiments, we would like to request the Muslim community in India to donate some amount to the flood affected areas of Bihar.
“As Bakreid is coming, it is a request from our side to not spend more on Qurbani. Rather having a big budget for celebrations, we can spend less on religious chorus and can donate the remaining money to the ones who are in dire need of it.
“Let everyone in the community see this Bakraeid with equal amount of joy. Serving humanity is the biggest service in front of Allah. Donate for humanity. Donate for a better society,” said Imran, who resides in Jamia Nagar.
