Dr Wasif honoured with prestigious fellowship

Dr Wasif Mohammad Ali, Assistant Professor, Department of Surgery has been honoured the Prestigious Gyan Burman Hepatopancreaticobiliary Fellowship in Gastrointestinal Surgery at Sir Gangaram Hospital. Dr Wasif underwent a rigorous training for three months at the Sir Gangaram Hospital.

With the Fellowship, Dr Wasif will now perform surgeries like Whipple’s Procedures for Pancreatic Tumour, Bile Duct Injuries repair and other complicated Gastrointestinal Malignancies.

Dr Wasif will be available for consultation in OPD 4 on every Saturday with Prof Syed Amjad Ali Rizvi (Unit Head) and Dr Atia Zaka -ur- Rab.

Prof Tariq Mansoor Principal and Chief Medical Superintendent, JNMCH and Prof Mohd Aslam, Chairman, Department of Surgery have congratulated him for this great achievement.
