As Delhi is on high alert ahead of tomorrow’s sentencing of Dera Sacha Sauda chief Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh in a rape case, many parents in Okhla are in two minds about sending their children to schools or not. Rakeb, who gave only one name, said she is yet to decide whether to send my son to school or not tomorrow.
There are other parents in the locality who may not send their children to school despite no official order coming to them.
It is important to mention here that on Friday, a Noida-based school had sent a message to parents informing them about the cancellation of the PTM. “There have been reports of disturbances and as a precautionary step, the PTM (6 to 12 scheduled for tomorrow that means on Saturday has been called off,’ wrote a message from the school.
