Students to showcase their sports skills at B.S Abdur Rahman UniversityOT, March 23, 2012 11:07 IST Okhla Times Team
The annual sports day is going to be held at Chennai-based B.S. Abdur Rahman University on March 28, 2012 at the Convention Centre. Dr. E. Balaguruswamy, Member, State Planning Commission, (Former Vice-Chancellore, Anna University, Chenna) will be the chief guest on the annual day. And Z. Mohammed Amjad, Deputy Manager, State Bank of India will be the chief guest on Sports Day. There will be an opportunity for university students to showcase their skills.
Of late Abdur Rahman University’s placement has been impressive. Recently some 555 out of 650+ students got offer letters at the placement day 2012 function held on February 25, according to F. Abubecker, AR-PRO of the university. Companies that handed over the offer letters included Sriram Narasimhan - Polaris Software Lab, Chennai and others. The placement day was a huge hit with some parents also turning up to see their wards receive offer letters from well-known companies.
