Residents mourn death of 12-year-old boy in Jamia Nagar

Residents mourn death of 12-year-old boy in Jamia Nagar. A 12-year-old boy, resident of Abul Fazal Enclave, died today at about 5 pm, according to people residing in this AFE block. The boy was suffering from brain tumour and for sometime was hospitalised in Apollo undergoing treatment, said a neighbour who attended his funeral at a local mosque in Dawat Nagar after Isha prayer.

The boy, son of some Akhtar, a resident of D block in AFE, was buried in Batla House graveyard. Residents are shocked and mourned the death of a young boy in Ramzan. This is not the first death in the month of Ramzan in Okhla. Though there is no data available on how many people died in the last five days, an elderly undergoing treatment too died a few days ago in Ramzan this year.

Moreover, just before Ramzan residents were shocked to know about woman being killed in a road accident in AFE.

OKHLATIMES was to report about the incident in which a rogue biker had hit the woman, when she had got down from an e-rickshaw to cross the road. After being hit, she sustained injuries on her head that had banged on the divider. She was rushed to a local hospital where doctors declared her brought dead.
