Noted academicians, businessmen of Indian community gather in Dammam

Indian Overseas Group (IOG) arranged an Eid Milan dinner last Thursday October 5 in Dammam where an array of distinguished personalities from different walks of life were invited.

Syed Rashique Ahmad, Convener of Bihar Anjuman Dammam Khobar Chapter was also present at the event, along with heads of other social organisations like Hyderabad Association, Bhopal NRI Association, Andhra Association, Bhatkal Association plus a few more social groups from Kerala & Karnataka. Also, the chairman and Management Committee Members of International Indian School Dammam, Principal of Al Muna International School, Dammam, Principal of International Indian School Jubail, President of Indian Engineer’s Forum and some cream members of Indian community, said the organiser.

“IOG dinner also witnessed a rare gathering of academicians and noted businessmen of Indian community. IOG is a group of volunteers working with the core mission of benefitting the resident Indian community in the areas of professional and personal development, education and community services.

“IOG extends its community services through two well organized Arms:

“The auspicious gathering was convened by Jameel ur Rahman, coordinator for IOG Professionals Forum and welcome speech delivered by Zafar Meer. It was addressed by noted personalities like Mammu Master, Principal Al Muna school, Mirza Zaheer Baig, President Hyderabad Association, Abdul Rasheed, Director Bhopal NRI Association, Shuja Shareef, President Indian Engineer’s Forum Dammam Chapter & was concluded with the keynote address of N. J Saifulla Shareef, President of IOG,” said the statement issued by the event organiser.
