Criminals loot Rs 3.5 L from trader, injure him seriously

A 25-year-old businessman was seriously injured and admitted to a hospital after criminals attacked him and snatched Rs 3.5 lakh from his possession at Jaitpur colony in New Delhi.

The attack took place at around 10 am on Wednesday morning when the victim was returning after collecting money from the shopkeepers for his milk supplies.

The victim Mohd Rizvan was admitted to the hospital in serious condition.

As the victim was not in a state to record the statement, police are likely to take his statement today.

Jaitpur and Shaheen Bagh have witnessed hike in such cases off late.

The victim’s father Halim Khan told OKHLATIMES that his son was hit on his jaws. “Actually they tried to hit him on his head with a bat. As he was wearing helmet he sustained injuries on his jaw. No he is back from hospital but he has lost his teeth in the attack. Also, doctors have wired his jaw. We plan to file an FIR and seek cops help in getting the accused arrested,” he said.
