Changemakers in education fellowship launched

The Delhi Government has launched an initiative to provide an opportunity to young people who want to “be in the system” to bring about a positive change in the education sector.

Titled: The Changemakers in Education Fellowship – it has been instituted to assist the SCERT and Directorate of Education in implementation of their policies and programmes. The programmes under this fellowship include Principal Leadership Development Programme, Mentor Teacher Programme, Learning Assessment, Management Information System, SCERT Online Platform for Learning, Special Education, Counseling and Guidance etc.

As of now, there are 54 fellowships available for which the applications have already been invited through advertisements in leading newspapers. These applications have been scrutinized and around 270 candidates have been shortlisted for interview which is scheduled for 18-22 September, 2017 in SCERT premises.

The names of all shortlisted candidates have been uploaded on the website under the head “what’s new”. Individual letters have already been sent to all the candidates by speed post.
