Chancellor Heptullah to inaugurate 3-day seminar at Jamia.
A three-day National Seminar on “Glossary in Indian languages – tomorrow, today and tomorrow” is being organised from July 3 to 5 under the auspices of the Scientific and Vocabulary Commission and Jamia Millia Islamia.
The seminar will be inaugurated by Dr Najma Heptullah, Chancellor of Jamia Millia Islamia, Governor of Manipur and Chief Guest at 10:30 am in MA Ansari Auditorium.
Vice Chancellor Prof Talat Ahmed and CSTT Chairman, Prof Avnish Kumar will be guest of honour of this programme.
Three hundred scholars from various universities and other higher educational institutions of the country are participating in the seminar, according to programme coordinator Dr Devendra Kumar Dhusia.
Dr Dhusia said in the first technical session of the seminar will starting from 11.30 pm, Prof Gangaprasad Vimal, Prof Rajendra Gautam and Dr BK Sinha will be present as experts. In the second technical session starting from 2 pm, Chakradar Tripathi (Kolkata), Prof Prem Kishor (New Delhi) and Dr Bhatranjan Mishra (Gorakhpur) will participate as experts.
In the third technical session starting from 4 pm, Prof PC Tandon, Prof Sudhir Kumar (New Delhi) and Dr Yogesh Dubey (Mumbai) will be present in this session
In the fourth technical session of the seminar organised from 9.30 pm on July 4, Prof Prakash Singh, Prof Anwar Pasha and Prof Mahavir Agrawal (Haridwar) will be present as expert. Starting from 11 am in the fifth technical session, Prof Anand Vardhan Sharma (Wardha, Maharashtra), Prof Devasish Sarkar (Kolkata) and Dr Ravi Prakash Techchandani (New Delhi) will be participating in particular.
Third day on 5th July there will be two-session followed by Valedictory session in which certificate of participation will be distributed to all participants, he said.
