Boundary of Okhla set to be redrawn in 2017 municipal polls

As the delimitation of the municipal elections is in the process, reports have surfaced that Okhla, like other constituencies in Delhi, is to change. The constituency is set to have five wards meaning that more aspirants can try their luck in the upcoming municipal elections that is scheduled for April 2017.

And before things are to be implemented, the Delhi Election Commission that is readying the draft report has invited suggestions from the public and other stakeholders. The last date is September 24.In there are 272 wards, and three municipal corporations.
