Who is building this Batla House road: DMRC or PWD?

If you get chance to visit Batla House then you might see that work is going on to build a road. Moreover, a few metres from there a nallah on roadside too is being build. On asking a worker: who is building this road? “It is being constructed by the DMRC or Metro as many people know,” said one person who identified himself as Ashok Kumar.

Are you sure? “I am more than hundred per cent as this road his being paved by the DMRC. The road is to be built from here to Jasola,” said Ashok, who was also part of the team inspecting the road there. Later on Okhla MLA Amanatullh Khan too arrived on the spot wearing white kurta and pyjama. “The road is being paved by the DMRC and the nallah is being built by PWD,” said MLA Khan.

He was seen interacting with the workers and giving them instruction how to cover the nallah at Batla House connecting Okhla Head. The work of nallah is also completed and it was taken up a few months ago to make sure to avoid waterlogging on the Okhla and Batla House road under the PWD or most probably by the newly elected local councillor Wajid Khan as the signboard put on the roadside announces.

Besides, the Metro work is going on at high speed and chances are that it may get operational from October.
