A Batla House resident has met with a road accident as the handle of the new bike he was travelling on allegedly broke.
“It was on March 2, when I went to my hometown. We had to go to some place so we decided to travel by our new bike. However, the handle of bike allegedly broke, leading to accident. I was sitting on the back seat and suffered some injuries. We were in Munger then. After the accident we came to Delhi for treatment. The man was travelling in normal speed,” said Qaiser Ali Kha, a resident of Batla House.
Both the people are undergoing treatment in Al-Shifa hospital.

A few months ago another resident of Okhla had met with road accident in Jharkhand. The car was badly destroyed, said Fiazul Haque. He had told OT.COM that how his brother survived the accident. After undergoing treatment at a local hospital in the locality, Haque’s brother is now recuperating in his house in Gaya.
Several road accidents have been reported in Okhla too in the last few months. In one such incident in Noor Nagar, a car had hit a bus cleaner, who died on the spot.
