Jamia student Khan’s debut Aziyat is without dialogues

Umar Khan is studying Mass Communication at Jamia Millia Islamia’s prestigious MCRC. Associated with theatre for the last 6 years as an actor, Umar has made his first film Aziyat on YouTube.

“Right now I am studying in MA Mass Communication semester 3 at AJK MCRC Jamia Millia Islamia. I did my graduation in English literature from Jamia. By this film I want to send a message that a film can be narrated without dialogues. Urdu is still alive. I have been associated with theatre for the last 6 years as an actor.

“This film is all about how to be strong after heartbreaks. My family lives in Bombay. It’s an Urdu poetic love story of 11 minutes. This is my independent work. The film is produced by WM Entertainments,” he told OT.COM.
