In Kejriwal-Najeeb jung, Delhi CM fires fresh salvo at L-G. The war of words between Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and Delhi’s L-G Najeeb Jung continues to rage with Kejriwal taking a swipe at the L-G today. He said notwithstanding the “obstacles” put by him at the “behest” of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, he will never be made the Vice President of India.
Jung responded and said: “I feel sorry for his paranoia.”
Kejriwal wrote a letter to the L-G in which he has accused Jung and Modi of not letting his government work and getting them probed by the Anti- Corruption branch and CBI.
“I want you to know that only yesterday the government has inaugurated a 100-seater medical college. I want to request you to ask your ACB team to lodge an FIR and get it investigated. Kindly also tell Prime Minister Modi to get a raid done on Health Minister Satyender Jain for committing the crime of completing the medical college in a record time,” Kejriwal wrote.
This is not for the first time that AAP and Jung have clashed. Since the government came into power, Kejriwal has been attacking Jung. Kejriwal went on to write: “Do as much unconstitutional, illegal and anti-people work as you want at the behest of Modiji, but he will never make you the vice president.”
“You and Modiji fulfil your duties. We will be awaiting your and Modiji’s ACB and CBI,” he said, quoted PTI.
