Remembering AMU Class V student Anam: Condolence meeting held

AMU Girl’s School condole sad demise of Anam Aslam. A condolence meeting was organised at the Aligarh Muslim University Girl’s School to mourn the sad demise of Anam Aslam, the student who recently fell victim of a road rage incident and succumbed to her injuries at AIIMS, New Delhi.

Amna Malik, Principal, AMU Girl’s School, along with other teachers and staff members, participated in the condolence meeting and expressed a sense of deep sorrow over the death of Anam. They also prayed for the departed soul and expressed strong sense of solidarity with her family.

It was a few days ago when reports had surfaced of the girl being hit by stray bullet in road rage incident in Aligarh. Initially she was rushed to a local hospital and later on she was referred to Delhi’s AIIMS. After being admitted to the AIIMS doctors worked to revive her. On the very first day of her admission in the hospital, appeals were sent for blood donation.


She was on ventilator and her vision was lost in the accident, according to sources. Her accident report was shared widely on the social media platform and supports poured in from across the country and outside also. However, it was on May 16 when reports surfaced that she succumb to her injuries at the hospital.
