Two residents of Zakir Nagar, who were going to attend a marriage in Uttar Pradesh with four other family members on Wednesday, died in a road accident that took place on way to Agra, according to family sources.
“The whole family, three children, husband and wife, was on the car when the accident took place. The car was being driven by a family relative, who also died on the spot. Khalida, 50, was sitting on the front seat and she died. She was buried in Batla House graveyard on Thursday. The other dead, the brother is to be buried today,” family’s close relative Azeezur Rahman told OKHLATIMES.COM.
At about 4 pm several neighbours were at the house located in Zakir Nagar to condole the family.
It is understood that Nausher, who is an engineer, is admitted at a hospital and in ICU. “Nausher’s condition is not good. He is not conscious. The three children are also in bad shape. However, they are speaking. We are all praying for their quick recovery,” said Nausher’s cousin Shakil Ahmed.
When asked how the accident took place, Shakil told OKHLATIMES.COM they don’t what really happened. “The whole story will only be known when my brother Nausher gains consciousness. The children, who are hospitalised, told us that the car shook and the driver lost control and the vehicle hit the divider,” said Shakil.
Neighbours in the locality mourned the death.
