2 brothers booked on charges of gangrape in Okhla

Two brothers booked on charges of gangrape in Okhla. Law caught up with two brothers, accused of alleged sexually abusing a 29-year-old woman for several years after Okhla police station registered a case against them on gangrape charges, according to daily report.

The report said one of the brothers on the pretext of marriage established a physical relationship with the woman. The other is understood to have allegedly raped her after she started living at their residents, reported The Hindu. In her statement to police, the woman alleged that she was held captive in the house for the last four years. She told police that she was living in Okhla and was working and it was during this time that she met Deepak at a marriage.

He brought her home by deceit and made her stay there and it was here that Deepak’s brother Mahender also allegedly raped her, she said.

“A few months ago, the duo took her to Nagpur where their mother tried to poison her, she said in her complaint,” said a police officer. Based on her complaint that she filed to police on May 18, cops swung into action and booked the accused for gangrape.

Efforts are on to trace them.
